In order to help raise funds to help maintain the Wickham Institute for the use and benefit of the village and surrounding area, we have set up a 100 Club.
An annual ticket will cost £12 (£1 per month) and will be entered into the monthly draw with the chance of winning the following prizes:
1st prize – 25% of the total monthly contributions
2nd prize – 15% of the total monthly contributions
3rd prize – 10% of the total monthly contributions
The more people taking part and therefore tickets sold, the higher the prize money. You can buy as many tickets as you wish.
The names of the winners will be posted in the Parish Magazine each month.
Rules of the Wickham Institute 100+ Club
1.The “numbers” will be issued on a first come, first served basis and will only be available from the treasurer.
2. Each “number” is deemed to have been reserved for one year from the first draw it is entered in, and purchased at £12.
3. The fee for each number will be paid annually in advance. Cheques should be made payable to “The Wickham Institute.
4. Individuals can join at anytime during the year, having paid the appropriate fee, and will be entered into the next monthly draw.
5. To qualify for a monthly draw the member must have paid their fee covering the respective monthly draw to be able to participate.
6. Each number purchased will be entered into the monthly draw. When a number is drawn out it will be eliminated from any remaining draws within that month.
7. There are no restrictions in the quantity of numbers purchased by applicants, but applicants must be over 16 years of age to participate.
8. A list of all members and their numbers will be posted on the notice board in the Wickham Institute.
9. The draws will take place within the first few days of each month.
10. The winners will be advised by telephone or email (as applicable) as soon as practicable after the draw has taken place.
11. The results will be published in the Bentley & Binsted Parish Magazine..
12. All prize money paid out will be by cheque.
13. The prize fund will be split into 12 monthly sets of draws each consisting of three prizes split as follows one of 25% (first), one of 15% (second) and one of 10% (third) rounded to the nearest pound.
14. In a dispute, the decision of the treasurer and chairman of the Wickham Institute Management Committee is final.
